Bele Chere

My goals for today included purchasing a T-shirt, acquiring a tan and indulging in some corn. Though I only fulfilled 1 of my 3 goals, this was a marvelous day. Bele Chere is the largest free street festival in the SouthEast and is located in downtown Asheville, NC. Bele Chere means “beautiful living” and comes from ancient Scottish dialect. We, amongst hundreds of thousands of others, joined in on the humid yet beautiful life and enjoyed amazing food & beer, distinctive culture, impressive musician performances and phenomenal people watching. So glad we were able to break away from the dedicated studying  and meet Asheville.
