Today we experienced true nature cure. Whatever parts of us that may have been inactive before had no choice but to be revitalized. We were immersed in water (both from above and below), we inadvertently sunk our feet deep into sand, mud, sticks and rocks, we felt the gentle breeze upon our shoulders. Today was our river walk observing all the plants that thrive near the edges of the water. We were told that inevitably every year this day is graced with an unrelenting downpour and this year it did not disappoint. This rainfall was reminiscent of the torrential storms of the rainforest – honestly, around every corner I was searching for a monkey or a toucan. We forged onward as a group, caution in every step, and we developed connection both with the plants and with each other. Today, we were ultimately healed by our stimulated senses and the elements that brought us all together. A memorable day indeed.
I remember those rainforest rains! And, those plants and animals that grews so BIG!
